Health 2 lifestyle is a Medicare and NDIS Provider of mental health services in the Adelaide metropolitan area. We are a group of experienced, university-trained, verified therapists that use a wide range of therapy approaches to support people with disabilities and mental health presentations.
The approaches that we currently use in our practice include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Health 2 Lifestyle has been established by Alicja Weidner, / Director of Health 2 Lifestyle. Alicja an accredited mental health practitioner and manager with over 20 years of professional clinical and managerial practice experience across various government and non-government practice settings, including mental health, disability, rehabilitation and aged care sectors.
She has been working in the South Australian NDIS sector since its beginning in 2016 and has established an in-depth professional expertise in this area. Over the years she has also developed a strong partnership with many other NDIS providers and mental health support services.
Alicja is an expert in mental health therapy, especially in the use of such modalities as mindfulness, meditation, artistic explorations, and guided visualisation in support of emotional wellbeing, Alicja iskind, compassionate and loyal, always considering the best interests of people with mental illness and disability.
She has an in depth understanding of challenges that many people with disabilities and mental illness are facing. and is passionate about providing timely, responsive, individually customised mental health support services that make a real difference in people’s life.
We recruit therapists that display a passion and high level of commitment, inspiration, and talent to helping others that go beyond their professional qualifications. That’s why our therapists, like people we work with, come from diverse backgrounds in art therapy, psychotherapy, counselling and social work.
All Health 2 Lifestyle Therapists are verified, experienced university qualified, often with graduate and post graduate qualifications, and registration with their professional associations. They have extensive experience in both government and non-government sectors, health, mental health, disability and aged care. They all have widely differing experiences, which matched with their learned skill sets, makes them uniquely qualified to offer a broad range of techniques and therapies to help, support, and engage their patients.
